My Approach

I’m here to help, not to change things for the sake of change.

I’m not coming to the Board with a preset agenda. I want to listen, learn what is already working, and be useful to students, families, educators, staff, and the community.

How I think about it

School budget and taxes

I understand that school taxes matter to residents. I don’t come in with a list of cuts or a promise to lower taxes. I want to understand what the budget supports and how decisions affect students, staff, and the community.

How I think about it

When the Board faces a choice

I want to understand the background, what is already working, and the likely effects of each option before weighing in. A change is not automatically an improvement; sometimes the most helpful thing is to support what is working.

How I think about it

Helping residents find information

The district’s information is available. When residents have questions, I’m happy to help point them to the right source or talk through what it means.

How I think about it

How I hope to serve

Listen first, keep learning, ask thoughtful questions, and contribute where I can be useful. I’m not approaching the role with a predetermined change agenda.
